I just recently discovered that Cuba is a Roman word that means Goddess or Protector of the Young. I also found out that Cuba Lake in 1858 was the largest man-made lake ever constructed. Thank you Google! Last weekend, I found a photo of what the lake looked like in 1908. The two story house in the center of this photo has since been knocked down and a brick house has been built in its place.
Inside this brick house is where I spent many summer days with my family creating the many memories I will forever cherish. Visiting this house last weekend brought back many of those memories. These are just a few of my favorites that I tired to capture...
